The Milton DPW is launching a new and improved GIS Online Mapper for public use. This mapping tool will provide users with improved tools, functionality and data. This is part of our ongoing effort to increase technical capacity, improve data management and allow our residents and local businesses to better access more accurate and up to date information about our community.
The mapper will go online in July, 2016. We hope you enjoy using it.
Mapper training workshops for residents and local businesses withh be announced shortly.
Users may access information and map data from a variety of town department datasets including Assessing, DPW, Engineering and Planning.
In addition to digital data, aerial imagery is also available for all areas of the town. The mapping tool is extremely easy to use, and no training is required. However, online instructions will be provided on the site. So we encourage you to visit our site and take a look at what it has to offer you in convenience and accurate up to date information.
NOTE: The Town of Milton requires that all abutters lists generated from our Online GIS Mapper for legal notification purposes MUST also include a Certified Abutters List Form that needs to be certified by the Office of the Assessor.
Remember to turn off all pop-up blockers, when using the GIS Online mapper.
The GIS Online Mapper has a Quick Reference Quide to give a brief overview to mapping tools and functions.
It also has a more comprehensive Help Document available as well.
