Conservation Commission
Appointed By: Select Board
The Milton Conservation Commission has an opening for volunteer member(s) to serve on Milton's seven member Conservation Commission.
The Milton Conservation Commission meets monthly on the second Tuesday of the month and on Saturday morning half-day field site reviews on a monthly basis.
Individuals interested in serving on the Milton Conservation Commission should let the Select Board know of their interest by filing a Volunteer Application form. The form is online or please contact the Select Boards Office at 617-898-4800.
Interested parties shall have a commitment to conservation and the protection of natural resources.
While the current members of the Milton Conservation Commission possess a variety of related experience, persons with backgrounds in engineering, hydrology, environmental science, and wetlands biology are being sought at this time. Other areas of expertise as a naturalist or in storm water management or in soils sciences are also desired.
