CY2023 Sewer Rehabilitation

Construction Workers Working on a Sewer ProjectThe Town is conducting rehabilitation on the sanitary sewer system during the Summer and Fall of 2023. The purpose of the rehabilitations is to repair broken sewer pipes and manholes to stop groundwater ground entering the sanitary sewer system. By removing this extra flow, Milton will reduce the amount of wastewater it sends to the MWRA for treatment.

Construction will be conducted in various locations throughout the town. Work hours will run from 7 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The Town's wastewater consultant, Weston and Sampson, will be on-site overseeing the work. Personnel will be wearing reflective vests with Weston and Sampson markings. The Contractor performing the work will be determined at a later date.

We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience during this work and appreciate your continued cooperation while we strive to improve our sanitary sewer system. Any questions should be directed to Weston and Sampson at 508-728-5557. Leave a message including your name, address, and telephone number, and your call will be promptly returned.
