Minutes of the Meeting of the Board of Health

1. No one attended for Citizen's Speak.
2. Minutes of the September 25, 2006 Board of Health meeting were approved.
3. Outstanding bills were signed for payment.
4. A subdivision plan for 333 Hillside Street was introduced by the Health Director. The proposal does not require any action by the Board as no issues were noted during review of the plan.
5. Mr. Blanchard informed the Board that there has been no update regarding the concerns relative to the Cunningham Park pool to date. Mr. Blanchard will follow up with Mr. Wahlgren.
6. Mr. Blanchard updated the Board on the status of the flu vaccine. The State Department of Public Health has informed local Boards of Health that while there will be a sufficient supply of vaccine this year the shipments will be delayed. As a result, the clinic scheduled for Cunningham Park has been postponed and will be rescheduled in late November or early December. The other clinics may need to be rescheduled with the decision to be made on a week to week basis.
7. The proposed FY08 budget was reviewed. Board members made recommendations regarding the narrative page and approved the budget for submission to the warrant committee.
8. The annual report was reviewed and approved by the Board.
The next meeting was scheduled for Monday evening, December 4, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in the Small Basement Conference Room of the Town Office Building.
The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
