Minutes of the Meeting of the Board of Health

A public hearing was held to discuss routine ground-based nuisance spraying for mosquitoes. Mr. John Smith of
the Norfolk County Mosquito Control Project attended to answer any questions that arose. After signing in,
residents had an opportunity to listen to Mr. Smith’s presentation and to voice their questions and concerns.
The public was informed of what needed to be done if they wanted their property to be sprayed as well as what
steps needed to be taken if a resident wanted his property to be exempt from spraying.
Following discussion of the matter, a motion was made by Mr. Lowney to approve spraying for mosquitos beginning August 8, 2006, seconded by Ms. Musto and unanimously approved by the Board. A press release will be sent to the local media informing residents of the particulars.
The meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
