Two Part-time Outreach Coordinators provide a personal link between Milton seniors and the various programs and services that are available throughout the community. Outreach services are available to all residents regardless of income.
The goal of the Outreach team at the Milton COA is to assist elders and their family members in accessing services and advocating on their behalf. Our Outreach Coordinators (Nancy Stuart & Alice Mercer) can be contacted by calling 617-898-4893.
Private home visits are available as well as office appointments. All information is strictly confidential. The elder service network can be confusing at times. The Outreach team can assist you in assessing your particular situation and providing you with accurant information regarding benefits and services.
Outreach Also sponsors Caregivers Support Groups.
1. Early stage Alz. Support Group- 3rd Wendsday of the month at 1 PM.
2. General Alzheimer Support Group last Monday of month at 10 AM.
3. General Support Group second Thursday of the month at 7 PM.
Outreach also offers a Caregivers lending library here at the senior center.
