Duties and Responsibilities
of the
Milton Broadband Monitoring Committee
1 Monitor compliance, performance and services of wired and wireless broadband providers in the Town of Milton.
2 Advise the Board of Selectmen, as Issuing Authority, on issues related to broadband services that affect the Town and its residents.
3 Interface between residents, businesses and Town government on all matters related to broadband services.
4 Advise the Board of Selectmen during relevant license transfers, renewals and other regulatory and/or procedural matters.
5 Monitor compliance in the areas of broadband construction, installation, customer service, quality of service, business practices, etc.
6 Advocate in support of the mission of the Milton Access Corporation.
7 Provide information regarding broadband services to the Town's Web site.
